The Woven Workshop brings family photographers together for hands-on shooting, teaching, critique, and honest conversation about the work.

At the workshop, you watch, practice, ask, adjust, and see how other photographers approach the same moment differently.
We slow down the parts that usually move too fast: reading a family, building trust, directing without over-directing, and making choices when the session changes.
What we’ll do together.
Morning
We begin with teaching, conversation, and a clear focus for the day’s shoot.
Afternoon
We photograph, observe, and work through real-time direction with a family.
Evening
We review, ask questions, and talk through what happened, what worked, and what to take home.
